Service Description
This course is designed to meet all state and local requirements for obtaining a concealed carry permit in Kern County, California. Our online training module covers everything mandated by the State of California, including firearm safety, legal use of force, situational awareness, and carry responsibilities. Following the online portion, students must complete a one-hour live-fire qualification based on Kern County Sheriff’s Department standards, which includes: - Demonstrating how to safely load and unload your firearm - Clearing malfunctions confidently - Assembling and disassembling your handgun - Successfully firing 12 qualifying rounds on target Whether you're a first-time applicant or renewing your license, this course ensures you’re trained, tested, and ready to carry legally and responsibly in Kern County.
