Tactical Edge Complex – Waiver & Liability Release
All participants must complete and sign the Tactical Edge Complex Waiver & Liability Release prior to arrival at the facility. The Agency’s Lead Officer is responsible for ensuring that each participant has a signed waiver on file before any training begins. Electronic signatures submitted in advance via TEC’s online intake system are accepted.
-
First visit: Every individual must sign the full waiver before their first training session at TEC.
-
Recurring visitors: A single signed waiver remains valid for 12 months from the date of signature, provided there are no material changes to the waiver or TEC policies.
-
When to re-sign sooner: A participant must re-sign (a) whenever the waiver or TEC policies are updated, (b) if the person’s circumstances change materially (e.g., medical condition), or (c) if the Agency sends personnel who have not previously signed.
-
New personnel: Any person who did not sign within the prior 12 months must sign before participating.
-
Recordkeeping: TEC or the Agency should retain the signed waiver (electronic or paper) for the duration of 12 months after the last training date, or longer if required by insurance.
